Local Family NEEDS Your Help
• The Dad has served our country in the Navy
• Both Dad and Mom were a hard working couple working for a local home store in NJ
• 3 small children under 8 years old
• Dad used his VA certificate of eligibility to buy the family their first home during the peak of the market with a bad loan.
• those of you in the real estate or mortgage industry know what happened next
• Mom and Dad were promised job transfers to Florida
• a co worker offered a discounted rental in exchange for fixing up the property distroyed by tenants
• they sold their truck for moving money
• Off they went with their 4 seater car, 3 kids, 2 dogs and a moving van, loosing their home, yet looking towards a new beginning
• upon arrival...the house is uninhabitable NO KITCHEN OR BATH ROOM
• the "home store" did not honor their promised transfers
• they had to find a motel and find jobs
• then they found a new rental
• Mom found a better paying job 2 hours away.
• Dad is with the kids.
• If you are a parent or remember when you were a kid...consider what is going on
• they are taking showers in the neighbors
• Mom communicates with the kids and husband through the neighbors
• they have no gas money
• Dad is trying to sell off all their belongings to return to New Jersey to live with his Mother in law.
Times are tough...we all are having problems...but we have running water to take a shower...we have gas in our car...our family is not 2 hours apart because of finances. We can make a difference TOGETHER!! a fund is being set up with Commerce Bank....for operation BRING BACK THE JOY....Let's bring this family back to New Jersey!!
